How to fill up the questionnaire

Dear all, this instruction describes in detail how to fill up the initial questionnaire.

Please, fill up all given fields, double-check before submission.

Specifically, pay attention to the 6 fields with VAS (Visual Analogue Scales) for assessing hunger and satiety 10 minutes before and after the three main meals. They technically cannot be marked as “compulsory field”, thus please do not miss any of them.

Fill up the questionnaire 29/05/20 in the evening, when you collected all the needed data (the deadline – 30/05/20)

On the morning of the 29th of May make all measurements (weight, waist, and hips circumference).

How to do measurements: 

1.        Weight

In the morning of 29/09/20, fasted, without heavy clothes

2.        Waist circumference

Start at the top of your hipbone, and then bring the tape measure all the way around your body, level with your belly button.

Make sure it is not too tight and that it is straight, even at the back. Do not hold your breath while measuring.

3.        Hips circumference

Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks.

How to fill up the fields with VAS (you will need to write the results on the paper during the day, and transfer them in the evening to the questionnaire)

After measurements take the sheet of paper and draw 6 lines (2 lines for each meal). In the beginning insert 0 and in the end – 10

For example:

Breakfast:

Put this paper into your kitchen, here you will draw the grade of your hunger and satiety 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after each of three main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on the 29th of May. Choose the grade from 0 to 10 on the lines (scales) according to the intensity of your feelings.

HUNGER assessment: 0- not hungry at all; 10- starving

SATIETY assessment: 0- not full at all, would eat the same amount; 10- ate too much, feel nauseous

In the evening 29th of May fill-up the online-questionnaire on the link in the email, put all the measurements and the hunger/satiety assessment data. Please double check all the fields. If there is no opportunity to complete the questionnaire on the 29th of May, the latest line – 30th of May.

 

The diet and the list of foods you will receive on the 29th of May.
